Welcome to PC, FrustW/Mm14!
Trust must be earned not love. Love should come freely and unconditionally. Some do give affection conditionally mistaking it for love, which is a regretful state as they know no differently what it truly means to love and be loved in return unconditionally. Love is never earned and if it is supposed to be, then they have confused it with another emotion.
I'm not sure who 'she' is but no matter, NO ONE can take away who you are without your permission. Someone who does not return your love unconditionally is their loss, not yours. Then it becomes a matter of not liking them, but you can still love them, (especially if talking about family.) If a romantic partner does not return your love or harms you (physically or mentally, such as trying to make you feel less than worthy as a person), then it is not love and time to walk away. You owe yourself that.
