Hi,
The aim of every dream is some degree of lucidity and waking. I have studied lucid dreaming and read a lot about it.
Dreams are an important part of lifes nocturnal control systems and your subconscious would not allow you to interfer with it. If you're hell - bent on trying to control your dreams your subconscious might, on occasions humour you with dreaming you're lucid dreaming. On most occasions you become bored and go to sleep or wake up. It is like trying to swim just under the water; you have to surface for air every so often and get tired of trying!
Thanks for this!
