Thanks TheByzantine. So far I'm doing great. It is the long term that makes all the difference though as we all know! Hubby is starting to cut back on his pain medication, so I think he is doing good.
I worry about addiction when either of us is on those kinds of narcotics.... if there are other things that I can do for myself like exercise or heat and ice etc, I'll do that first. Pain is a very good motivater though to just get rid of it when you feel it!
Opps off topic a bit. The best benefit of his having this surgery is that he can't drive for nearly a month so I'll have our car! I can go to the gym to work out or to the mall and walk any day I want to.
