I know I'm bipolar. I've researched it, looked at the DSM-IV standards for diagnosing and everything. It's just that my current pdoc is such a d-bag that he doesn't listen to me. I don't even talk to him anymore. I tried once, when I first started seeing him, and he told me I needed to get a psychologist for that.

I mean, aren't psychiatrists supposed to listen to our problems too to be able to give us meds? Anyway, I'm not making that mistake again with the new pdoc. He/She will hear everything I have to say on the first visit and then we'll go from there.
