There is no Cure for bi-polar or borderline personality disorder, and hundreds of other mental illnesses. While there is no cure with therapy, medications, self care (sleeping enough, eating healthy, excersize) you don't have to suffer the affects of any mental illness forever. Most people get better, not because it is curable...but because they finally have tools or a combination of tools, medications, therapy's, selfcare etc available to them, but that takes alot of dedication and time on your therapists, pdoc and your part.
