hi, i will keep your mom in my prayers . i have just finished radiation for cervical cancer i also was on chemo,so it may vary which i am sure it does from person to person,the radiation its self is not painful but will take some effects on her body,me in the beginning was just a little tired by the end of my 5 weeks i was very worn out and did have some stomach issues with nausea and diarrera,i have been through with treatments for a month now and i am slowly gain more energy . the most important thing is to be their emotionally for your mom as there is a lot of ups and downs emotionally through treatments.many blessings
