as an aside, south african drivers licenses have got to be THE funniest things ever. my friend has one (dual citizenship) and just got it renewed, and it's the same piece of laminated paper than any school student could forge?? in australia we have barcodes and holograms and photo id and everything imaginable to make sure we dont do fakes.
