I can understand that kids want to be 'normal' (define normal nowadays), but doing it by SI'ing isn't the right thing to do...I just don't understand this and I think something has to be done, and fast.
At school we have the anti-bullying assemblies, handbook assemblies, what to wear to school assemblies, the 'smoking-will-kill-you' assemblies, but never have we had a self harming assembly, and I think it's about time we did. Kids need to take this seriously before anyone does permanent damage to themselves. But how to approach asking about it...I'm just not very sure at the moment.
