I have been taking Depakote (anti-convulsant)for about a month to smooth out extreme moodiness associated with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). It doesn't seem to do anything to me but make me sick to my stomach and give me insomnia- so obviously I am ready to suggest a change in medications to my psychiatrist.

Anyone have a similar experience with this drug? What other medications are useful in the treatment of BPD?
