You should report him anyway. No right to say the things he said to you. No right at all. And, you are right, he is not educated in these matters and could face a lawsuit if he keeps giving unwanted advice to customers.
My pharmacy is very discreet and that's what I expect of them. They never even mention the med names aloud where everyone could hear them.
