I gotta say I'm so glad I went skating. More so now that I realize it must've been just what my friend needed (she has a rough time around the holidays, bad home situation and all that). I'm happy I could give her one day (and maybe many more this holiday) away from it all, just to have fun and be a normal teenager. I kept myself positive for her sake and tried my best to teach her how to skate. She must've enjoyed it cause she wants to go it again next week. I gotta say that one big leap has really paid off!!
