Well, I've been on synthroid 15 years and have never had things taste different. When I was just new at taking synthroid (at 28 years old), I loved milk and ice cream-- consumed them before I started on the medication and after--- I never experienced any taste difference.
For some reason 3 years ago I became lactose intolerant -- so I don't consume as much dairy-- but I still LOVE it!!

Anyway-- maybe inky has a good idea-- perhaps it's the antibiotic?? I wish you luck with all this-- you have a lot going on.
