I got a phone call just a little while ago from my former mother in law (her son is my ex husband). It is my son's Christmas concert Thursday evening and she wants me to take her. I will be busy enough that day and evening (getting Timmy ready etc) that I don't know how to say no to her.

I have stayed in touch with her as I divorced her son not her and she is my son's only grandparent. I just feel awkward and don't know how to say no. She is 85 years old and will need help getting in and out of the building, etc. I will also have my other son (2 yr old) as well. I feel so guilty and know I shouldn't but would I be a meanie saying I can't do it? Do you have any advice for me? Maybe I should take her?...oh I don't know ....
