ACK, Kismet...I didn't pick up on that part about the Scientology. You're right, I DON'T want to buy into that. My instincts were correct then in not being able to find info on the author right off. Thank you for finding that info.

I think due to all the meds I'm on and the "overmedded" feeling I've been having lately I just kind of had a knee-jerk reaction when I saw the book. I do have a great pdoc so I need to just calm down and discuss that with him at my next visit.
