i received this from The American Humane Society...
fur free friday was last week, but i thought some of you might be interested in checking this out. they use the fur coats for hurt and abandoned, trapped, etc. wild babies to sleep in. such as a baby raccoon in a mink coat sleeve.
IF you inherited any fur garments or still have some from your “early years” -- before you learned the shocking truth about the fur industry -- please visit
www.CoatsforCubs.org to see if there is a drop box in your area today. If you are unable to visit any of the Coats for Cubs locations, please check
www.hsus.org/furdonation to find out about mailing in your donated fur and fur-trimmed items.
Pat, as someone who has signed the Fur-Free pledge, you know that wearing fur or fur trim contributes to needless animal suffering and death, and all of us can help expose the hidden cruelty stitched into every fur garment. Thank you for being part of the solution and easing the suffering endured by the more than 40 million animals killed for the fur trade each year.
Sincerely,
Wayne Pacelle
