Kimmy and crew: glitter glitter glitter. Since they came out with glitter glue, . . 1) personalize a christmas tree ornament for each person (people love to see their name in lights, HaHa), 2) cut out folded paper snowflakes and cover them in glitter glue, 3) prune evergreens to make swags and/or wreaths and/or lapel things, with tiny christmas balls, pinecones, bows, tiny toys, etc...... whatever's to hand. 4)waxed paper "stained glass": 2 pieces waxed paper, dried fallen colorful leaves (pressed flat) , crayon shaving sprinkles, no-steam iron on low, colored paper trim, bamboo skewer through top, ribbon to hang. 5) coupla decorated cookies (remember the name thing), 6) a special rock or shell or seeds or cuttings or photos....... I'll stop at a baker's half dozen. The important thing to me is, to think of the person it's for while I make it. (Of course by the time I'm done I've changed the tags on everything, but it keeps the juice flowing to think of the poeple I care about while I'm futzing around being creative...)

One year I made glitter balls for the whole family and sent them to my Mom--figuring everybody would pass through her house at some point. Well, I guess I wasn't clear about the giving them out part, cause, she made a centerpiece with
them..... but what the heck, everybody saw them, knew they were included, which was my whole point. I enjoy crafts, as a calming thing, so it was all around good for me. Ya inspired now? Yo
