All I found in my Mothers cloths was a rabbit fur jacket.....thinking that rabbit fur is similar to leather because rabbits are also raised for food & that is a byproduct of the food process.

I hate real fur & wouldn't be caught dead wearing it. I remember when I was a child, my Grandmother had to have her fur stole (think it might have been fox), because it was a symbol of class.....which she was into. I am not sure where her things went to because with her altzhimers, she gave everything away or tore it up & threw things away.

I was against the wearing of real fur before anyone ever made an issue of it. I always lover the animals & even as a child would confront anyone wearing real fur. I love the faux fur....& have many cloths with it on......I really wish I had access to the old furs my grandmother had in order to do something good with them. I will keep a lookout for any real fur, now that I know there is a way to put it to good use.
