FYI - I read that a lot of those dollar coins are having errors in regards to the side lettering. Some don't even have any! Regardless, make sure you check on the numismatic value and not just the base metal worth.

In regards to the JFK Silver Halves and even the old Silver dollars. If you are looking to make money, you live near a casino that use the 50c halves for the 50c slots, just sit there, looking for not only 1964 and below, but anything in the 60's and prior. From 1965 to 1969 there was Silver content, but only 40% as opposed to the 90% of 1964 and prior coins. Many people will simply overlook the 1965-1969's. Silver spot price I just looked up has silver at $29.22 per ounce.
