I'm feeling disappointed and I guess I should do some step work. Everyone from the ascypaa committee is going to have a wrap up meeting and then we were going to have a potluck. Nice and cheap right? Well they changed their mind and decided to "make reservations someplace affordable" and then go play miniature golf. I'm in the process of moving, so there's no way I can do this. Any place that takes reservations is not affordable. I was the unity chair on the committee, so one of the members said I should plan this, so I came up with the potluck and Winterhaven, a neighboorhood you can go walk through that's all decorated, and FREE. So, my question to you all is, what do you do when all your friends can afford to do stuff and you're gonna be left out? I know I should just accept the situation, accept that I'm powerless and that I"m being responsible with my money. But I'm bummed out because they told me to plan this and then just came up with a completely different plan that I can't participate in. Experience, strength and hope please.
