hoo boy... I have to say that my initial reaction is alarm. Every time my husband has let his Lexapro prescription run out, he turns into a bug-eyed monster. He does NOT handle cold-turkey withdrawal well. He doesn't even notice the change in himself (because he thinks that the problem is ME), but I do... he becomes almost impossible to live with. He gets really sensitive, VERY defensive, very irritable.

So, Bethy... I wish you well, but also keep an eye out for how your family is reacting to you during this time. I would also recommend that you ask them if they have noticed a change in your temperment. Going off meds is something that the whole family has to live with, so please be fair to them.
