It's so odd you mention the scent thing.I identify people by scent as well...two days ago I found it very odd to be trying to follow an unfamiliar scent in the air...head tilted back slightly...nose to the air....kept walking slowly to the right of my back door...picking my feet up and slowly padding them down as though I was stalking.It was a frakin' cat lol...then I realized the chain of behaviors that preceded the find.I thought ...woman...you are out of your mind.But this happens alot I just never paid it any attention.I must admit I never desired to lick my kids clean or otherwise....however...I always buried my nose into the crook of their neck and smelled deeply.I understand the communication with animals.Always had that.I swear there is a psychic connection between myself and dogs where we we just understand each other.I never saw this so plainly as I did with Bearpaw....my arctic wolf hybrid.By the way.When I buried my nose in his neck I kid you not his scent was of smoked meat.Gah! I loved him! I am very well behaved in most aspects....but when it comes to my pack or my sexuality.....it all goes out the window.
