Lol. Welcome to the greatest medical care in the world! PFFFFFTTT!!! "They" tell us this all the time, and as Petunia says, it's used as a scare tactic to justify not doing anything about it.

Yes. Totally agree, source is important. I don't trust the internet for such things because you truly never do know what you're getting... unfortunately, there are plenty of people willing to scam for a buck. That said, I've lived close to the Canadian border nearly all my life, and can tell you that many places actually organize bus trips for people to go over to get their prescriptions filled in Canada.

BNLsMOM, as far as withdrawal for the Seroquel, I've never taken it, so can't speak to that, but the NeedyMeds idea brought up is definitely worth checking into. Another thing to consider is to check into what the ramp-down time would be for it (see http://www.crazymeds.us/ for excellent med info --site is med oriented info only, NOT support). Then you could calculate out how much you would need for a ramp-down and buy only that amount. Sometimes (found this out the hard way) meds can be more expensive per dose at a lower volume, but it may be enough of a savings overall to make it worthwhile, because the amount may be less than your current cost for a full prescription.
Please keep us posted, ok?
