Thank you all for being so encouraging - I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to get back here - combination of not feeling well enough to be online and/or trying to get out more.
Ben - I'd be very interested in that book. When I wrote this original post I had not yet been started on the latest med I'm on - Lamictal - and after being off work on disability for 2 1/2 months, on a boatload of meds and STILL not seeing any improvement, I was starting to wonder if I should just go off of them.
To answer your question: I am currently on 500 mg Depakote, 100 mg Zoloft, 150 mg Wellbutrin SR and just completed my first week of 25 mg Lamictal - on the ramping up slowly method. Additionally, I have Ambien and Ativan to take "as needed."
Non-psych meds are a high dosage of Synthroid and HRT.
jennie: I'm so sorry you went through that. *HUGS* And thank you for sharing that with us here. I think many of us get discouraged with taking so many meds and often, at times, still feeling so ill, so I think you so much for showing an example of why it is not a good idea to go cold turkey.
Again, thank you all so much!!
