Yeah, I've done that.. one time I felt really bad in class and scratched a spot on my arm over and over and it turned kind of purplish.. usually it only bleeds if I've been picking on a scab or peeling of dry skin. Someone here suggested keeping nails short. I already do, but I guess it does lessen the damage.
