IMO you could be suffering from a pinched nerve. Or... the headache could be muscular in nature. I suffer from both. I know how bad that pain is. Have you heard of referred pain? Google it. See if the description could make sense in your case.

Also ask your Doctor if he will prescribe Phenergan for the nausea. Vicodan for the pain would be good as well as Soma to loosen up your muscles.

I am NOT a Doctor but have suffered from these headaches for most of my life. I understand just how intense they can be.
