Dear friends,
Firstly, please let me apologise for my naivety in not putting a trigger warning on my post. I sincerely apologise if anyone found it triggering and upsetting. This was most certainly not my intention.
And secondly, thank you deeply for all your concerns, replies and checks. No, Hunny, this isn't what therapy is for me, and I so hope it is not for any one else either. What I liked about the movie was the representation of the others talking and moving about behind and around the main character, coming forward, then moving back again, the constant chatter going on in the background, the different aspects the others were demonstrating. For me, it was the first time that I had seen a visual representation of how I could explain to someone what it is like for me in my head (complete with 'interrogation' room, and hallway/tunnel, and separate room). I, again naively, was looking at it symbolically, not in a literal therapy/hospitalisation sense.
Thank you all for your input. It is very appreciated.
