Shouldn't you be on some daily bp meds? Is it because of your thyroid that your bp spikes? There are so many inoffensive, cheap, proven, generic bp meds that you could certainly find one that helps make sure your bp is okay every day, without your having to get out the cuff. And I really don't think anyone can feel it every time their bp goes up. Most often, as I'm sure you know, there are NO symptoms until it's too late.
