(((((PFM)))))
I'm sorry that you are experiencing this.
I don't have any exact answers for you. In my experience, I do not have static, but I hear chatter sometimes when my alters get worked up....and sometimes before bed when I'm trying to fall asleep.
What I have studied about and heard from T's is that, as far as voices go, often times the schizophrenic voices will be perceived as coming from outside ones head, as if being heard through the ears. I've even heard that it can sometimes be through one particular ear. The voices of the alters in DID are often perceived as being internal voices that are "inside" ones head and are not necessarily heard with the ears, but heard within the mind.
I don't know if that helps or makes sense, but it's also different for everyone. If you are living with both schizophrenia and DID, I imagine it could be very confusing and un-nerving.
I'm glad you asked.
