Most of my dreams tend to have me lost, usually in a huge city, sometimes familiar, sometimes not..

Last night's main dream was quite different. The meaning of the "lost" dreams might be easily explained and I don't dwell on them. I woke better this morning. The dream might have been slightly weird, but it was somehow more positive.

I was living at home with my parents. My father was a senior manager with a large automobile manufacturer. My mother was a housewife.. I returned home with my mother having picked up take away food. After arriving home, I didn't see my mother or father in the dream. They must have been somewhere in the house. The house was filled with a large number of young people who had finished their training and were celebrating. After talking to some of the trainees quite happily, I finally got to eat my meal, probably now cold. I did not see my mother or father for this time.

The only real life event which may have triggered this was the fact that I had missed my university graduation. I was travelling at the time. I know this upset my parents and it was mentioned afterwards for a time. This happened almost 40 years ago.. I have occasionally thought of it. As odd as the dream was, it was somehow liberating. My morning has started better than for a long time.

I would appreciate any thoughts.
