i have this rare condition, "conjunctivitis with pseudo membrane". There's basically a thin layer of "skin" that builds up under my eyelid and then peels off. I then have those chunks of "skin" stuck under my eyelid, which is excrutiatingly painful. The only way to get them out is with a q-tip, which of course further irritates my eye, plus I don't always get them all out. I usually get those attacks in the summer, caused by allergies. Well, for three days now I've been getting attacks every evening. The first night I was in so much pain that my husband drove me to the ER. Of course, they'd never heard about this condition. Noone has, except for the doctor who diagnosed it. Everyone always looks at me like I"m crazy. It's soooo painful. Righ tnow I'm sitting here with my eye hurting like he!!. I don't think I got it all out. I now printed out some information about this condition, that way shoudl I have to go to the ER again, I can show them that this really exists and I am not making this up.

I do't want to deal with this anymore. It hurts, it's random and it's annoying.
