So, I noticed that on my new medication, it's not the same. It's better, except for the fact that the rare time(twice in the past month and a half) that I take two instead of one 40mg pill because I'm feeling extra anxious and depressed, it has the opposite effect. Last night, I got extremely anxious and depressed- Everything was coming at me at once, feeling lonely and despondent about the future and my situation and hopeless and depressed. I had no answer other than to have a drink to calm my nerves. I was in bed when it hit me and got up to try and calm myself, but I just cried harder, so that's when I had a few shots. No, I'm not an alcoholic. I drink only a few times a week, if that. So, anyway, I've talked about this possibility with my psychiatrist. For example I said that if someone didn't have A.D.D. and they took something for it, it would actually have the opposite effect. She said no, that wouldn't happen. Well, don't kids get high on ritalin? Is'nt that the same thing? anyway, I'm going off topic here. I'm just curious if anyone has ever experienced this before?
