So I just spent about 3 weeks in the hospital because I was suicidal, adn then attempted suicide. The inpatient psychiatrists plan was for me to work with my regular psychiatrist to try MAOI's since I have taken pretty much everything else with no success. Now, I am on no depression meds, my psychiatrist refuses to let me try any MAOI's due to dietary restrictions and stuff (all of which I know about and am willing to deal with at this point).

I am SO frustrated at this point. My psychiatrist just wants to keep trying me on meds I have been on already, even though they don't work.

Now what?
