I was not offended by you or what you said.
It's this thing, and not your fault, that is a prime example of what irks me, the media seems to only throw attention to the person's mental disorder(s), rather it be bipolar, schizophrenia,ptsd. etc.
It would be nice if the media devoted air time to more documentarys,educational stuff on mental disorders, break through the public's ignorance and show it's not all black and white, etc.
I guess the title of this thread may have triggered me, and I apologize to all if I came across as being offended and/or defensive about disorders.
My feeling about the incident, doesn't say what happened was okay, I am happy security was there. Me, not being there, can't tell if it was necessary to kill the man. I kind of feel shooting at non vital area, bringing him down, then cuff him. But, again, I was not there so I do not know if there was such option.
It's ashame, his wife even considered having him fly while not on his meds., there are some things I wonder about in that relationship.
Main thing is that the rest of the passengers were not injured, maybe shaken up a bit.
