Do not get discouraged. In recovery you are finally allowing your body to be where it wants to be. You are allowing your stomach to become what it once ways...and it is normal for your body to be all out of whack while in recovery. It is not easy and I think you knew that while attempting recovery. You are not alone, there is a whole heap of support out there waiting to help you out. I too often times cannot sleep on an empty stomach. I would encourage you to start small and work your way up...even if that means a cracker or piece of fruit. Allow your body to see you are making an attempt and work with it instead of against it...I know that sounds ridiculous but in the long run it makes a lot of sense.
