I often have dreams that involve someone trying to hurt or kill me... but i am always very turned on by it. They started when i was young.. i would dream that a man was chasing me, planning on raping and killing me, and i'm always scared in the dream, but wake up and almost like that feeling.
Last night I had a dream in which a guy told me that he was going to try to kill me at some point during the night, and that knowledge made me sooo turned out and i just remember the feeling of passion was so strong. he had a big sharp knife and i was trying to get rid of it, but at same time was so drawn to him sexually.
What does this mean?? Why do i feel so attracted to the feeling of being scared and almost being killed? Is there a name for this? Is it some sort of sexual fetish? How can i explore this safely?
