thanks dottie,
the reason i like this job so much is i have to multi task and no 2 days are the same so i never get bored, often a comman denominator in me leaving jobs,

i have always worked better when i do not worry about what happened the day before, knowing that today will be totally differant, dont get me wrong there are some bad days then some really bad days, that is why the burnout rate is so high in this job, it doesnt help when you have people screaming abuse down the phone to you for 8-12 hours a day and you have to sit there and be all polite and courtious, but thats the job, i can deal with that, if it gets to much you just put the phone down on them.

a bit of advice for you all out there regarding parking tickets, if you get one and phone up to complain be polite to the poor sap on the other end of the phone, you will be surprised on how much help they will give you, if you scream and shout at them they switch off and you will get noware, also when you call in we make a note on the pc files so if you were horrible to them, or polite, when you come to appeal the ticket, the adjudicator reads the correspondance left by the telephonist if you were abusive you pay the ticket every time, if you were polite you have a better than 50% chance of the ticket being cancled or reduced.
