MAJOR UPDATE for this forum!

So I got an email on Monday from the music director for this show and saying she wanted to meet with me. I went to meet with her yesterday and she told me that the person who was cast as Rapunzel in the show (which is Into the Woods by Stephen Sondheim) had dropped out. Crazy! Then she had me sing Rapunzel's part and told me she would talk with the director then email me. Naturally I checked my email obsessively for the rest of the day. It wasn't until this morning that I got an email saying she wanted to meet with me again... went over and she said I got the part!!! I can't believe it! I'm so excited but also kind off in shock because I had gotten so used to the idea that I wasn't going to be in the musical and was going to have free time this semester. But I really am excited! Right now it just doesn't feel like a reality; perhaps that's why I'm feeling a bit unsettled. Just thought I should let you all know. Thanks for being there for me when I was having such a rough time.
