I actually had to talk to the nurse today. I am actually starting to get off of lamictal and get BACK on depakote. It actually worked for me.

They told me that I have to cut back my regular 200mg to 100mg for a week.... then be OFF of Lamictal for 3 WEEKS before I start on depakote. They didnt tell me the specifics WHY but hey, I was told by two separate people so... I comply. I just wanted to know if you were ever given any kind of, "Juggling Lamictal and Depakote isnt a good idea" or any kind of talk. Just wondering if that could be an issue of being on both at the same time.
