I badly want to go swimming at the public pool. It's a long walk though from the changing room to the pool itself (well, not actually a long distance, but it feels a long way wearing just a bathing suit). And the problem is, I'm kind of embarrassed about my scars and since they are on my legs I can't hide them like I could if they were on my arms. Would it appear so very strange if I were to walk to the pool wrapped in my towel? Another problem is that the water is stored right up to the very edge of the pool and laps over, and I don't know where I would be able to store my towl, other than by the wall when I enter the pool room. Has anybody got any alternative suggestions?
