my $0..02 - its a little concerning to read other PC'er comments on how much they love their T and how much T's love means to them. No criticism is intended in saying this; but if this is essential to therapy, I guess I am missing the boat.
I guess it depends on what kinds of problems is the person facing. I guess some can do just with the "teacher/trainer", some need the strong relationship as a motivator. You can still trust person whom you aren't deeply attached to in their advice... I guess it depends on how much does the person believe in themselves, if they need more reassurance or rather need to be called out on their behavior...
