If you don't mind my asking, do you have someone in particular in mind? I'm thinking, maybe, an elderly parent or a child?
Why should I say "I want to help" when I don't? The whole point of my post was someone imposing on me in an unwanted fashion. The last thing I want to say is "I want to help." I was actually thinking of pushy, overbearing, self-involved, self-aggrandizing people who want to force others to be a cheering section or human footstool.
