I'm so sorry that your hubby is stripping the holiday spirit from you. Yes, things must be done yet and I understand things are really tight this year for so many people (including myself) but I don't think that should give hubby the right to try to take it from you. I do understand your need to give, as I am a giver also. It's so heartbreaking when you can't give. This year is that way for me since I haven't gotten a dime to my name this month, so that means no presents for anyone.

Just hang in there and remember that your hubby CANNOT take all of your spirit away because it lies within you, not him.
