That is really fishy, and I'll tell you why.

I'm a grad student, and have taught college classes, and I can tell you that white-out is totally out of the picture. Everything is done online. Grades are stored online, and grades are submitted to the registrar online. Nothing is done on paper. About the only way to get something in paper is if a student asks for a copy of their transcript.

If your T wanted to change the student's grade, she would do it online, and there wouldn't be a record.

So, to me, this story doesn't add up.
