It found that those who said they spent two or more leisure hours a day sitting in front of a screen were at double the risk of a heart attack or other cardiac event compared with those who watched less. Those who spent four or more hours of recreational time in front of a screen were 50 percent more likely to die of any cause. It didn’t matter whether the men were physically active for several hours a week — exercise didn’t mitigate the risk associated with the high amount of sedentary screen time.
Ok, I have to read the study, but according to the article...I mean...

those who spent four or more hours of rec. time ...were 50% more likely to die of any cause... um YEah, that's the way life ends... somehow?

And several hours of exercise a week didn't mitigate the risk? So just what IS the risk? Sitting? Sitting only at the computer or just sitting anywhere?

Hmmm being a little facetious here... so if I sit more than 2 hours a day I am more likely to die of something?

Sorry, the PhD in me likes to destroy studies at times.

Thanks for digging this up though
