Kim, people were only put off because you seemed to be saying that because
you were able to do something to improve your life, that everyone else should be able to. No one was upset about you being able to do those things, just criticizing others for not being strong enough to handle them. I'm not saying that was your intent, and, speaking for myself, I'm
not mad at you.
I know it feels bad when it seems like everyone's coming down on you, but I'm not, although I admit I was put off when I first replied. You should be proud of those things you achieve and improvements you make on your life.
As for offending people, I've done it, too. Like I said, it doesn't feel good when people come down on you (even if they misinterpreted what you said), but you can't let that stop you from speaking up what you feel. I've offended people more times than you know. Sometimes I'm glad to, because sometimes people need to be offended, for good changes to happen. The important thing is being true to yourself, even if others don't like it.
Stick around, ok? Us Jersey Girls are gonna take over the world!
