hi bp, well it might help if you told us the drug. some withdrawal with drugs can cause seizures so one needs to be in the care of a doc to wean you off. "There are really no 12 step programs that deal with this specific addiction (that I'm aware of) and I just need some support!!" there is AA and NA all over the world. for meetings near you just google AA, etc and put in your location. i strongly recommend a 12 step program for successful recovery. it takes's a time commitment by you but otherwise would you end up where u are now again? the chances are you will unless you get involved with a support grouup of ppl who have similar addictions, imho. also do u see a pdoc? if you do he/she needs to know cause you may have mood swings. they could handle the weaning off as well. keep us posted. we care.
