For the life of me, I can't remember my phone number sometimes! And I have yet to learn my cell phone number, even though I've tried.
I also carry a list of all my medications and their dosages--not only for anyone in case I'm knocked out and can't speak for myself, but also because I can never remember the dosages myself.
Speaking of medications, I went prancing off to my pdoc's office, bottle of meds in hand, because I thought I needed a refill and was carrying the bottle as a reminder. The doc said to give the bottle to the nurse, so she could write down the details. The nurse said, "According to the bottle, you have one refill left." I was totally floored. Come to find out, I brought the wrong bottle. I needed a refill of Trazodone, not of Tramadol. If life isn't hard enough, why do the pharmaceutical companies have to name drugs with such similar names? I have a hard enough time as it is! (As usual, I was quite embarrassed.
