I think it is easy to think that way because we can all too well understand our own motivations. We remain blissfully unaware of the workings of the minds of other species. I have to say, that I falter a bit when I see my cat and what he does to his prey, or what a weasel of a mink does when they get done inside a chicken house. My rationalization processes have to work overtime then. But people, yeah, them, it's way too easy to crawl inside thier little skulls. And depressed, All I see is the bloody, evil, filthy slef centered stuff. The dark stuff. Depressed, I never see the light. Or if I do, I turn away really fast. There are times I just can't admit it's there.
Just don't give up on all of us. There are still a lot of folks who feel the same as you and who want to change things. Just hang on, keep your eyes open, and don't turn away form the light, dear. HUGGGGGSSSSSSSS
