Your med combination could be what's causing your depression..lamotrigine is the generic for Lamictal which is a mood stabilizer but can cause worse depressions. For me, it works well on the high's but caused rock-bottom depression. So if you're increasing the lamotrigine, you might want to ask about adding an anti-depressant. I'm Wellbutrin as well as Lamictal and it seems to be working fairly well.
