I'm happy to report that I don't have Rheumatoid Arthristis, which is what I was fearing. I have Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia. I've had the Osteo for some time but the Fribro is a new diagnosis and I'm reading up on it. I have two sisters who have it so I'm aware what they've been going thru.

The doctor has prescribed Ultram during the day and a low dose of Elavil at night for pain and sleep. I thought it was really interesting that an old antidepressant would be used for pain. Has anyone else been prescribed these two things for Fibromyalgia? How is it working for you? Thanks, Susan
